Culture entrepreneuriale
Does the mission of Carrefour jeunesse-emploi de Laval speaks to you? Do you want to play your part? No problem. You can participate in CJEL activities in many ways.
If you want to work directly with young people, you can do so by becoming a mentor in one of our two mentoring services. Mentors coach young people and contribute to their emancipation and the success of their projects. If mentoring is not for you, you can get involved in immediate interventions with youth by performing interview simulations. This occasional but essential activity enables a young person to experience a real interview situation while giving you a tangible influence on the youth of our community.
If you would rather be part of the decision-making process or the defining of the Carrefour’s and its Foundation’s orientations, you can hold a seat on the board of directors of Carrefour jeunesse-emploi de Laval or the Fondation du Carrefour jeunesse-emploi de Laval.
You can also collaborate with us during certain activities or events organized in partnership with local resources. These meetings are often good opportunities to network, socialize and learn about new developments with our partners.
I’m a teacher and know the potential that entrepreneurship holds for my students. Can you help me realize projects with them?
Our two awareness officers from the Défi de l’entrepreneuriat jeunesse will help you to develop your students’ capacity to begin initiatives and to believe in themselves. Creativity, teamwork, leadership … the entrepreneurial spirit will never have been so present in your classroom. The development of entrepreneurship in your school is a great way to foster in young people the desire to succeed.
